April 7, 2023: Meetings in Kathmandu

Good evening from beautiful weather in Kathmandu! Our day began today with an 8AM breakfast meeting with accomplished Nepali scholars who work with international anthropologists on documenting communities, art and social well being. Following this meeting, was another meeting with an exceptional civic-minded friend of a friend who organizes educational and cultural projects. It was truly a meeting of minds and he asked me to speak to high school students to let them know about the profession of conservation of sacred art.
